MATMAS - BD10 - send all materials

Postby leewxm » Fri Jan 20, 2012 2:11 am

Hi
I am looking at using idoc MATMAS to pass material info to a an external WM system.
My understanding is to use BD10 for an initial load to pass all materials to the external system.
But when i run this, although multiple idocs are created and the status segment says it has been passed to file, the file actually only contains one material.
Any ideas if I am missing something?
Even if I enter materials 400 to 402, I will only get material 402 in the file

Thanks
Lee

Multiple IDocs => multiple files.
Of course, if you send these IDocs to a file port, and always use the same file name, it'll get overwritten, so you'll only see the last one...

I have changed to collect idocs rather than send immediately

Hi Leewxm,

I saw your post and need an advice.... We have material masters being created in non SAP system and we want those to be copied to SAP and create a material master in SAP automatically as soon as they are created in non sap system. How to achieve that ? and if you can tell sequence of activities in short pls !

regards

Pamela

Pamela, please do not highjack other topics for your questions.
As the OP's problem is solved, I'm closing this.
