Master Data Distribution Model Vs Change Pointers [RESOLVED]

Postby Baz » Wed Oct 26, 2011 6:11 am

I have created a master data distribution model for changes to be sent via iDoc using data filtering. I added a new specific field on CREMAS (TDID) with value and i only want my distribution model to be called if the condition is met.... i thought that seemed reasonable enough. Not reinventing a wheel or anything!

if i activate change pointers it sends everything all of the time. if i deactivate change pointers it does not send anything!

how can i link my distribution model to partner profile as i do not want all the documents to be sent?

it seems to be an all or nothing solution! and i am loathe to create a zversion of cremas just for this - as it may not work anyway - that would mean redoing all my PI stuff that works a charm.... any ideas? the sap help was good as gold when i followed the guide to set up... but does not work as expected....

You mean you added it to the data filtering in BD64 ?
If so, only the Idoc segments with having a field of this name whose value does not match will be filtered out (and the child segments).
The parent / independant segments will be sent anyway. As it's not a field in the root segment (E1LFA1M), you'll always have an idoc created.
