Hi All
I am in process of moving from SAP BC 4.7 to SAP BC 4.8. We have a program to generate routing rule for SAP BC 4.7 and the program only works on 32 bit machines. Where as for SAP BC 4.8 is on 64 bit machines.
we have thousand of routing rules defined in SAP BC 4.7. Is there anyway that i can import routing rules from 4.7 and export it to 4.8.
or anyother trick which I can use to transfer routing rules. and all routing rules are RFCs
It would be great help from you guys.
thanks in advance
Khawar.

Hmmm.... I did several 4.7 -> 4.8 migrations, but all customers only had max. 20 routing rules.
Did you store your 4.7 routing rules in a separate package?
If so, you could try importing that package in your BC4.8 but that probably is not enough.
I assume there is also an xml-file containing the definitions. If you could locate that and copy it to your 4.8 directory.......
Also, there are some methods in the BC developer that are used to create routing rules. Perhaps you could use those in new method that lets you generate the routing rules you need?
