ATP on IS RETAIL

Postby sap_maniam » Thu Sep 13, 2012 11:34 am

Hi Guys

Are there any difference between the way ATP works in R/3 and IS Retail?

We are having a made to order situtaion on IS Retial

We have defined 5 days as RLT and 1 day as production.

In the control we have NOT ticked the Check without RLT in 02 --> AE control.

But for some reason the system is confirming tomorrow as the delivery date.

Just trying to figure out any difference between R/3 and IS Retail.

ANy help is apprecaited.

Regards

Hi

Short answer is no. IS Retail uses standard ATP from ECC. Retail is fundamentally a buy from vendor and sell to store/consumer business, as such, it is rather odd to find a make to order scenario. Be that as it may, if you set up your production lead time as one day, you are telling SAP you only need 1 day to produce the required article internally therefore it confirms for 1 day out.
