Standard ERP 2005 and Retail

Post by Sigitas » Wed Feb 20, 2008 9:05 am

Hi all,

We have implemented SAP R/3 into 6 manufacturing factories.
The second step is to implement SAP R/3 for textile retail network with 20 stores and over 20000 articles.
We would like to activate Retail component, but we have found a restriction that the functions of the component Actual Costing/Material
Ledger is not available in conjunction with the component SAP Retail.
We are using Material Ledger. Is it really true? Any ideas ??

Thanks in advance.

Yes, some functions are not supported in IS-Retail, for example Material Ledger. Here you can find more information ... ameset.htm

And you have to know, once IS-Retail was activated, you cannot reverse it.
