Hi.. In ISU terms, what is the difference between Billing & Invoicing? Thanks.

Billing relates to the consumption charges - this may include consumption of KWH charge, KW (Demand) charge, Customer charge, any discounts e.t.c.,

Invoicing relates to charges like city taxes, county taxes e.t.c., on top of the billing charges.

just a suppliment to srini....

billing takes care of all the consumption charges whereas invoice deals with FICA postings.

Billing occurs at contract level........
Invoicing occurs at contract account level
