Documentation mangagement in IMG

Hi,
I and my team use transaction CV03N in SAP R/3 4.6c to view/upload/change functional/technical documents.but as a part of security policy in my company they have removed modification authorization to all the employees to C drive. from then we are facing problems to view any documents from SAP.every time when we are trying to view a document ,internally the system is trying to create a temporary document in C drive it is failing since there is no modification access to the drive.is there a way available to use so that the we can tell to the SAP system to use some other drive for example D drive to be customized using IMG settings.

the company network personnel have refused to give modify access to C drive as it will violate security policy.
