CTM

Postby been » Thu May 14, 2009 2:38 am

Hello,

I'm running CTM-planning
Requirements from one Plant are distributed to two other plants as Purchase Req but:
No productionplanning is done in these plants for these purchase requirements.

PPM's are existing in these plants for these materials and are working fine with SNP heuristics.

What could be wrong with the setup for CTM ?

check if you have maintained the product loc ( for plants with PR) in your master data selection in CTM profile.

Hello,

Thank's for your answer.
Yes, the locations product are in inte Master Data Selection. When I run the consistency check I can see that - both the location products and the PPM's for production - and also in the logs from the CTM run. So, requirements are created for the production plants- I can see that in the planning views- but then no planning is executed for production.

I hope you have figured this out by now, but two things to check:

Goto Product Location Master/Procurement Tab for the produtc you are trying to create production orders for, make sure the procurement type is set to "E" (in-house production).

Model Version Management /n/SAPAPO/MVM
Double click on version 000 (or whatever version you are running) and make sure the SNP section on the right has a check for the box "no planned orders w/o source of supply".

additional things that should be checked are:

lot size and time validity in header of PPM of production location
