Demand Planning-General Querry.

I am planning to work on Demand Planning for that I was created infocube with the data from R/3 which consist of material code and location wise(sales qty). the sales qty. The same I was created in the master planning object structure. I want to Demand planning with ref to product group and later I want to disaggregate to SKU level before transferring to SNP.

In that case is it required bring the product group wise data from R/3 to infocube and later to planning area.
Else whether we can do by doing aggregation for at the sku level.

Please give outline what are the characteristics to be loaded in the Infocube from R/3 and what are the characteristics to be selected for master planning object structure and key figure to be taken in the planning area.

I am having present R/3 Data set up in the infocube Plant wise/material wise sales qty. I want to calculate the forecast with ref to Product group level later I want to disaggregate the same up to Sku level before transferring to SNP.

Please guide me the list of characteristic to be taken in detail way.
