ODS data load fail with status 9 error

Postby Bwquery » Tue Sep 16, 2003 5:05 pm

Hi all,

We have been loading data into ODS from a while. Now recently I changed the update rule and after that when I am trying to load initial load I am getting error in second step of update with status 9. What is the meaning of Status 9? There is also communication RFC call error.
Thanks in advance.

RFC

Postby chetan » Tue Sep 16, 2003 5:55 pm

If there is RFC error
Pliz check the RFC connection with SM59.

Also do check in LOGON security TAB whether the user and password is set.
Or make sure with BASIS whether u r granted the AUTHORIZATION for loggin R/3(Source System) where ur extraction takes place.

WE are running into the same problem. I've checked sm59 and everything is okay, I checked the ODS via RSRV and it checks out. I execute ST22 and we are getting a Time-out error. How can you change this parameter?

Does anyone have any other ideas????

Bad news.... .....after looking at all those notes you suggested, we can't use any of them, none can be implemented (via SNOTE). Any other suggestions? Should we change the time out or package size? I performed a runstat & reorg on the table but that hasn't helped.

speaking of help.........HELP!!! :o
