Infoobject could not be found

Postby Guest » Mon Nov 11, 2002 2:44 pm

Hello,

I want to include the infoobject 0RECORDTP to the infocube but it is not found when I tried to do a search. I was able to include it in the transfer rules and comm. structure, so it is activated.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Interesting. I checked table RSDIOBJ and 0RECORDTP is an InfoObject of type DPA (Data Packet Attribute). It's not in any InfoObject Catalog that I could see. I'm guessing you typed the name directly into the transfer/communication structure, but this isn't an option with the InfoCube. I wonder if InfoObjects of this type (DPA) are not available for use in InfoCubes? I checked 0RECORDMODE - same thing. Perhaps you could create a custom InfoObject and map 0RECORDTP to it in the transfer or update rules.

Best regards -

try to insert 0RECORDTP into an infoobject catalog (eg. under UNASSIGNED node) via infoobject catalog maintenance function.

Then, try to insert 0RECORDTP into your cube. Maybe you need to re-execute transaction RSA1 before editing your cube.

I believe the field is only used for delta reasons in the ODS objects, no reason to use it in InfoCubes.
