What is the conceptual presentation of Keyfigure,Characteristics,attributes and relationship among them?

I think Info Object is the conceptual presentation and relationship of KeyFigure,Characteristics,attributes.

If Datasource is capable of delivering only "After Image" of the change records what happen next in these records?
Update into infocube & DSO
1st store into PSA & transfer to infocube
1st processed in DSO for generating delta records for infocube update
Processed in DSO only.
