About working in BW/BI

Postby cocor » Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:46 am

Hi,

I'm interested in entering the SAP world, I am a engineer in computer science and I've been researching a lot about this ERP.

Being a expert in computer science I think the SAP areas that suit better my profile are BW/BI, ABAP and Netweaver. I am totally new to this, so I would like to read some advice regarding:

- ¿Is necessary knowledge in ABAP/Netweaver for working in BW/BI?
- ¿What's the typical day of work in SAP BW/BI?
- ¿How are salaries in BW/BI?
- ¿Another reccomended modules for a computer science expert?

Thank you so much in advance!

Cheers

1. Not necessary
2. Support or development work. Work on requirement, support existing system by solving user issue.
3. Salaries are definitely a lot compared to your McDonalds and Starbucks job.
4. I suggest you take the module of personal development so that you start doing search for answers on the web. http://www.findsap.com
