Customer Exit varibale coding

Postby anyananda » Sun Mar 25, 2012 10:07 pm

Hello All,

I need to create a customer exit variable for a US client to calculate
YTD.This exit variable will be used to create a restricted key figure
in the bex query. The YTD variable calculation needs to be based on
an existing Fiscal Week characteristic in the query. The fiscal year
week characteristic has values 1 thru 52.

Could someone please guide me as to how to go aout the code?
I have never coded YTD stuff and do not know what the output
should look like. Also, what logic will need to be used to get YTD
from Fiscal week?

Any/all help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
annie

suppose we're June and your fiscal year is alligned with the calendar year

YTD (in fiscal period) = 001.2012 - 006.2012
