PSA - Deleting Requests

Postby Guest » Thu Oct 24, 2002 10:53 am

Is there a way to have an InfoPackage overwrite or delete a prior request in the PSA?

This would prevent doubling (etc.) the data.

Please advise on the best approach to this.
Thanks . . .

If it is full load,

(a) you can always delete the contents of the cube from the infopackage itself (Data Targets tab)

(b) you can schedule a deletion job from the PSA view. In the specific PSA, RMC and click on 'Delete PSA data'. Select days or date range, select scheduling options, type in a name in tha blank after BI_PSAD and hit 'start'.

If it is a selective full load, then you need to write an ABAP using the infopackage name and date range as variants.

Hope it helps.

What is the path to the DataTargets tab in 2.1c?
Cannot find it?

Same as in 2.0B: RMC on the Infopackage and click 'Change' or 'Schedule', you can see it between 'Processing' and 'Update parameters' tabs.

Not on a Master Data InfoPackage.
Is this only for Key Figures?
