DB View with multiple tables

Hi guys,

I have created a DB view in SRM that has several internal and couple of custom tables in it. Here's the question. Two custom tables Z600H and Z600J has fields with similar technical name in them for example ZCONTRACT_NO. So the view throws an error upon activation Field name ZCONTRACT_NO not unique. Even though the tables are different. Any thoughts of getting around this?

The name of the field in the view doesn't need be the same as the name of the field in the table.

Guys,

Need some feedback on this scenario.

I created a DB View in SRM for several internal/custom tables in SRM. Created the Datasource in SRM on top of that View and replicated in BI. When I was mapping fields in Transformations, I realised that I needed to add another table in that View. Now, If I went back to the SRM View and made those changes and activated the View, what needs to be done in order for those new fields to appear in the Datasource? There are no options to refresh the datasource so that it will reflect the changes in the VIEW. Any suggestions besides creating a new datasource on the view and do all the mappings again? Any help would be appreciated.
