SD pricing versus CRM pricing

Postby SAPache » Mon Jun 22, 2009 4:37 am

Hi,
I'd like to know what's the difference between standard SD Pricing and CRM pricing.
Is there similar configuration?
If you are a SD pricing expert, can you say you know CRM pricing?
Thanks

Hi,

There are lot of differences between SD Pricing and CRM Pricing the way it works. The pricing technique works same way in both SD and CRM. However there are no account Keys in CRM.
You also have an IPC/Pricing engine in CRM for pricing routines. You have a TTE - tax engine for calculating taxes.

You can use R/3 as a leading system and download all pricing procedures, conditions etc.

Cheers!

Hi CRM2004,
Many thanks for your reply. That's more or less what I was after.
Could you recommend a CRM book/manual that I could buy?
Mostly on the Sales area.
Cheers

Pretty much the same for configuration. If you are using ISA and IPC pricing all the formulas (VOFM in ECC) have to be written in java.

ECC configuration is replicated to CRM but is not changeable in CRM. CRM pricing procedures only work in CRM they do not replicate to ECC.
