Call an external web service from CRM

Hi all,
I need again your help.
I want to call an external web service from CRM. I think I have to create first a proxy , but I have no Idea to do that.
Has anybody some information about how to call a web service from CRM?

Hi..
U can create a Web service in CRM system through TCode: SOAMANAGER
Goto Service Administration Tab -> Click on Single Service Configuration.
Select Consumer Proxy in Search By DDL. Select your Name space and click on Apply selection.
Here you can create a web service as a listner to call the external web service.

First of all, thanks a lot for your response. But I'm a little bit confuse with this tool. I supposed that I have to create a proxy to call the web service, but I am totally lost, I am not sure how can I do that. Do you have any documentation about SOAMANAGER transaction? (This is the first time I've seen this transaction).

Hi,
I don't have any document as such. But just follow these steps.
1. SOAMANAGER -> Service Administration -> Single Service Configuration.
2. Search by 'Consumer Proxy' and select External Name (e.g., query_view_data).
3. Click on 'apply Selection' and Goto Configurrations Tab.
4. Click on 'Create Logical Port' and enter all the details.
5. Logical Port is the one, which is used for RFC Connction of the system & URL must be the URL of the Web service, which u r going to call
6.Enter other required details and save it. Now, Click on 'Ping Web Service' button. You should get a green message stating that Ping is successful.
Note: For this to work, u should also create a web service in the source system, the same service defination.
