STXL table - uncoded and unpackek comments

Postby rtrosic » Tue Mar 10, 2009 7:58 am

Hello,

I extracted tables from SAP with SAS Access to SAP and I created a datawarehouse with customers data.
I wanted to extract SAP comments but data are coded and packed on the STXL table. Do you know what I can do to extract real customers comments?
Thank's for your help

I use Function Module (Txn SE37) READ_TEXT in the SAP/ECC system. I think the same FM works for CRM.

TDOBJECT = the table for the type of data. For example "EKKO" is Purchasing Header notes. "EKPO" is Purchasing Item notes. My best suggestion is to look at the entries in the STXL table to try to figure out which ones you need.

TDNAME = Internal Key. This can differ between different text objects. In CRM, this appears to be (no surprise) a GUID.

TDID = The Text ID you are extracting.
