BRAIN 276

Postby peterssake » Wed Dec 24, 2008 10:05 am

When I try to execute a CRM query from our portal I get the following errors:

Error loading template 0TPLB_0CRM_C04_Q0020_2

I click on the above for further info and get:

Error loading template 0TPLB_0CRM_C04_Q0020_2

Notification Number BRAIN 276

I did a note search for this and found note 1014795. However, I'm unsure how/where to make the changes it suggests. I've run this by our CRM person and our Portal person and neither knew the solution either. Below is the suggestion from the note I'm questioning:

Solution
If you want to continue to use the ABAP-based runtime, create the template
using the Web Application Designer (SAP BW 3.x).
The templates called using the new Web Application Designer have new
objects that are independent of the objects saved using Web Application
Designer 3.x. This means that, unlike the old templates, they can no longer
be called using parameter template_id=abc. Instead, you can address them
from an iView using template=abc and they use the Java Web runtime in the
portal. Only the old templates can be executed in transaction RSRT.
In Web Application Designer 3.x, you can use parameter template_id=abc to
call saved objects.

Any help would be appriciated.

Execute a query/ Do you mean BW query? If yes then create a web template using BW web application designer (BW 3.5 or 7.0).

Link your webtemplate in CRM SPRO customization (Link BI reports ...). Also add these web templates to your business roles in PFCG.

I had a similar problem in that I was trying to run a web template designed in WAD 7.0 via the PFCG transaction through a role.

I found this solution

To call a 3.5 Web Template via a role in PFCG put the folling in Object Description:-

<bsp_protcl>://<bsp_server>/sap/bw/BEx?cmd=ldoc&template_id=ZACD1_W0003

To call a 7.0 Web Template via a role in PFCG put the folling in Object Description:-

<prt_protcl>://<prt_server>/<bi_launcher>?TEMPLATE=ZSACACCIDENTS_CCC

Have posted this as it may help others
