Printing chinese on invoice

Post by sosodef » Sun Nov 10, 2002 10:31 pm

Hi Guys,

we have a client in Taiwan who is trying to print traditional chinese on their invoices. Everything looks fine and dandy on the print preview, however, when outputted to hardcopy, #'s appear. This is occurring where we have tried to include header text using traditional chinese as the language. However, all other output of chinese appears correctly on the output, i.e. address, material etc. Look forward to your reponses.

there are some OSS-notes on # in printouts. Did you check them already?

I encountered this problem before.

You might use specific font for Tradtional Chinese.

Only one font in SAP for that: TWSONG.

an alternative to the above solution is: dont maintain any fonts at all !! For all your "character formats" in the layout set, make sure that font family is blank....

Hi !!

1) Your layout set should be translated to Chinese

2) While using OPEN_FORM language passed should be Chinese

3) Fonts should be Chinese

4) Device type should be the one that supports Chinese

Check the above..
