I have a requirement to add a 2D QR Code Barcode to a smartform.
The barcode will contain dynamic data, so has to be created fresh for each document.
(Yes I know its a silly idea, but seemingly its a legal requirement for Invoices in Bolivia!)
I have managed to find a way of creating a 2D bar code using abap, that gives me a PDF. However I'm stuck on how to actually output the PDF on a Smartform.
Has anyone any idea how to do this?
I was wondering if I could convert the PDF to a Tiff image?
I've spent a whilg googling this, but most information is about loading a static image like a logo, or a URL, using SE78, but that wouldn't work here as the barcode has to include information like the customers tax code and the invoice number.
Thanks in advance.

To update this, incase anyone is interested.
The latest release of SAP can handle QR Barcodes as a normal barcode font. However, I'm not working on the latest version of SAP.
The solution I found was to download the Adobe Livecycle Design suite from the SAP Marketplace and convert the Smartform to an Adobe form. I was then able to add the QR Barcode to the document.
It seems to work.
