smartform automatically deletes leading zeroes

Postby abapper53 » Wed Mar 26, 2014 10:58 am

hi guys,

i have a variable that can hold a alphanumeric value, ie AA01 or 0031 etc. My problem is when i pass the value to smartform, the form automatically suppress the leading zero so 0031 is displayed as 31 instead which is incorrect. what am i missing?!

any help is greatly appreciated.

Moving this to the SAPscript/Smartforms forum.

Also, I guess the field type has an ALPHA conversion routine?
You can ignore the conversion routine using the formatting option K:
&symbol(K)&
68 74 74 70 3a 2f 2f 74 69 6e 79 75 72 6c 2e 63 6f 6d 2f 62 64 6f 37 6d 77 67
