How can I only change the LAST page to the portrait format?

Postby Alicealice » Tue Oct 11, 2011 5:32 pm

Hi All,

I have changed the LAST page to portrait format but it seems like affected the other pages.
All of my pages become portrait format. Total have 4 pages which FIRST page is landscape, NEXT page is landscape, ACKN is is landscape and LAST page is potrait.

Could you please guide me to solve this issue?

Thanks.

Are you using smartforms or sapscript?

Could you specify where exactly you set the orientation (portrait, landscape) per page?
Because as far as I know you only can set the orientation (portrait or landscape) per form (not per page) - this is different in Smartforms.

Hi,
In the basic settings, I set the LAST page as portrait but it seems like affected the other pages become portrait. Could I set the first 3 pages as landscape and last page as portrait?
If cannot, how can I do it? Please advise.

Thanks.

The basic settings are global settings i.e. these affect the entire layoutset.

I think there are two options:
1- create a separate form for your last page and call this new form from your print program after the first form has finished. Have a look at the function modules START_FORM and END_FORM because you will probably need those as well (next to your OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM).

2- develop your form in Smartforms instead of SAPScript. In Smartforms it is possible to set the first 3 pages to landscape and the last page to portrait within the same form.

Good luck!

According to the user, there isn’t a print program for this issue.
Is there any way to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Not sure what your user means, but ofcourse there is a print program.
This is the program from where your SAPScript form is called and executed.

Tell me, what form are we talking about? Is it a purchase order or a salesorder?
Is it a standard SAP process or is it a custom development?

I've check with the user previously but the user mentioned there is no print program for this sapscript. I will check with the user again.
I'm working on the sapscript now, its a purchase order. It is a custom development for the sapscript.
Could you please guide me how to solve the issue?

Thanks.

There might be another option.
Please try adding /: PRINT-CONTROLS SLAND to the main window of your LAST page.

If that does not work, try looking up the print program for your output type in table TNAPR.
You might have to do some changes there.

I've added the code in the main window of the print program but it does not work.
How can I find the print program name by myself?

Thanks.

Look in table TNAPR for your message type.
For PO's this usually is SAPFM06P. It calls 2 function modules, ME_PO_READ_FOR_PRINTING and ME_PRINT_PO.

I was wondering why I changed some code in main window of the LAST page and the other main window will also change together as well? Thanks.

That's because it's the MAIN window. It is the same for all pages.
I realise I was a bit unclear before: if you add something for a specific page to your MAIN-window, make sure that you make it conditional because otherwise it will affect other pages as well.
