We want to be able to have the user select the printer, using the LOCL (Local Printer) setting.
However there will be two kinds of paper in the printer; with and without logo.
Since we do not know which printer the user is going to choose, we can't hardcode the trays to use. Instead, we want the user to tell us in the SAP system which trays contain the blank and the logo paper. We don't know exactly where or how the user will set this, but let's assume it's possible.
When the form is printed, is it possible to substitute the TRY01 and TRY02 values we set in the form, with the user set values? This has to be done before the print job is sent to the LOCL printer. Any suggestions? Thx in advance!

In your printing program before you call SF FM, give a popup where user should define correct trays. Then pass those values to your SF

Sounds like something we could do... now to find how to use the result in the Smartform.
There is a field to statically set the tray to print the page, but in this case we want to set that tray based on the user input from that popup. I'll give it a go, thx
