How to test Japan/Kanji version of form?

Postby asharma » Thu Sep 17, 2009 9:51 am

Hi all,

I am working in an environment that includes forms in language JA, with Kanji characters. I'm in the US and want to update my laptop settings so that I can see the JA output as they will see it in Japan... with the Kanji characters and all. I've updated my Regional and Language options in Windows so that I am using the Japanese format and the Japanese language for non-Unicode programs... but the forms still come out incorrectly (a weird assortment of symbols, mostly little squares and rectangles) instead of Japanese characters.

I am logging in to SAP with language JA and have confirmed that the language on the output record is JA. All my menus and screens are correctly displaying Japanese characters... It's just the forms that aren't working. Does anyone know what additional settings I need to make to fix the language JA forms?

Thanks!
Allison

Does Japanese's Fonts exist in your output device?
