Hi-Ho Guest,

I think the following program may contain some useful information for what you are trying to do:

RSDEMO_SPLITTER_CONTROL

I hope this helps.

You can do this by creating a Screen Container, splitting it into 2 and putting and ALV Grid Control in each.

See Programs under Transaction DWDM for Controls Examples:
  • RSDEMO_CUSTOM_CONTROL or RSDEMO_DOCKING_CONTROL for creating the Screen Container
  • RSDEMO_SPLITTER_CONTROL or RSDEMO_EASY_SPLITTER_CONTROL for splitting the container into 2.
  • BCALV_GRID_DEMO for outputting an ALV grid to a container

Angelis.

Hallo Guest, U can get the info as per Angelis Suggestion. But easy way is create a Docking Container in which U dispaly one grid and another one as a normal ALV grid. That it may help U..(As per my knowledge and experience). ..All the bet........Sri

We've done it. A bit complicated with the ABAP Object stuff. You will need 2 custom containers on your screen and use objects referencing cl_gui_alv_grid. If you have not been to an ABAP OO class, you will be very confused.
Contact me directly if you have any additional questions, kmoore@saphrguys.com or

Another simple solution

You can use subscreens within your screen. I.e. One subscreen area for header information and two subscreens bewow side-by-side. Call a different screen to each of those subscreens and include the ALV control manipulation within the subscreens.
