Query Functionnal Location & Contact Person

Post by BrunoGr » Thu Nov 02, 2017 12:29 pm

Hello all SAP Fans,

First of all I am new on this forum, so please excuse me in advance if I posted in the wrong thread...

I would like to create a query in Quickview, connecting a Functionnal Location to all the Contact Persons it is related to.

Technically speaking, the functionnal location is in the IFLO table, which is directly connected to the partner IHPA table

The contact persons are in the KNVK table, but I can't reach to connect those 2 tables, I miss a connection between the customer number (KUNNR) and the partner number (PARNR) which is the same for us (but probably not for SAP)...

So if anyone can help me...

Thanks in advance!!!!

Regards,

Bruno-

Hi Bruno,

this is not a Basis question, so, I moved it here in the ABAP forum. Maybe someone here has a better idea on the place to move this.

thanks.

Hi

I have not join these tables for functional locations but I have done it for equipment which also uses IHPA with customers. The value n IHPA does match KUNNR in KNVK. The problem maybe that the partner procedure assigned to the functional location does not have any customer relation partner function configured. The SAP supplied one only have ones like vendor, user responsible etc.

Hello Frank,

Thanks for your feedback

could you please explain what you mean by "the partner procedure assigned to the functional location does not have any customer relation partner function configured"...

what is exactly the "partner procedure" and the "customer relation partner function"??

Thanks for your help...

Hi

Sorry for the delay in replying. Don't come to this site much anymore. Anyway, run tcode OIPP and display the details of the functional lcoation category you want. Inside you will see a partner determination procedure. Standard is PM. Then run tcode VOP2 and display the partner functions configured for the procedure. For PM you will see that there is only vendor side set up. That may be why you don't get customer. Try adding customer partner functions into the procedure and see if that makes are difference. You may need a PM or SD functional person to help.
