How I find out which program is trigged by an invoice?

Postby Sapslzr » Thu Jan 16, 2014 11:29 am

Our client has a program that for every invoice creates an .txt file that saves in a specific folder.

My question is how can I find out the name of the program or function that does this?

If I put a break point on VF01 and create an invoice, what should I look for? or should I just look for it in on the Billing user exits?

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Carlos

I'd use RS_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN on packages Z*, looking for the directory name/logical name/TVARV parameter where it's stored.

Hello,

In order to download the text file, the statement OPEN DATASET could be used. I think you can use debug mode and a breakpoint for statament OPEN DATASET.

Check in table TNAPR which program / script is executed for a particular Output-type.
For Invoicing, the application area should be V3 if i remember correctly.

Hi

Further to last post. Easier way to find the output program is to display an invoice with VF03, go to output determination screen on the header, it will show a list of outputs generated for that invoice. The output type description should tell you which one to check. The other give away is output medium 8,

Once you have the output type then look yo TNAPR with the output type and application = V3
