Disable SAP Menu via Code/Auths?

Post by ingress » Thu Jun 25, 2009 1:05 am

Hello Sap'ers,

I have a issue with one of our developments. We have developed a new transaction which uses the standard function module EDIT_TEXT to create standard text, it opens up transaction SO10 in essence and allows the users to edit a specific standard text.

However this means from the menu you can edit other text objects, which we don’t want, (we only want the users to be able to modify one particular text).

Do anyone know if we can effectively remove the menu options, so the user can not navigate to choose another text?

The aim of this development was to allow the user a WYSIWYG way of entering text for outputs.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Create a custom GUI Status (copy the original and modify)? Should work (haven't tried it though)
Kind Regards
