Task Follow on Function Module interface [RESOLVED]

Post by bucka » Fri May 29, 2009 3:49 am

Hi all,

I am creating a custom Notification Task Follow on Function Module.
I have had a hunt around.
Can anyone please advise the details of the interface available for the Function Module.

What I need is all importing, exporting and table parameters.

Ron,

As a matter of interest, what is the business requirement for using the Follow-on task function modules (I've never actually used these FM myself)?

The standard FM I used simply added long text to the notification task after save.

Hi Pete,

We are building a Planning Workbench for managing Orders for a Mobile solution.
We are using both Orders and Notifications in this process.
The specific requirement is:
Tasks of specific Code Group and Code represent an exception that should prevent the work being downloaded to the Mobile application (examples would be no access, asbestos on site, dog etc..)
So if an exception task is added to a Notification we then change the PM Order and Operations associated with it to prevent further processing in the process.
The Follow on Function can be after the Notification is posted so the PM Order is not locked.
Kind Regards,

Ron Johns.

Thanks Ron,

That's given me a few ideas for one of our developments (also MAM related)
