Richard's Documents

Postby Paladin » Mon Apr 07, 2003 4:23 am

Hi,

I've just downloaded the DOCS.ZIP from the download section and although it does look well researched and useful, I'm afraid that i can't amke head nor tail of it.

Could someone offer some guidance on what exactly this was produced for or what it is supposed to do?

Sorry for being so dumb but on reading the first part of the document it talks on how it is all an aid to documentation, but there is also code with there and ... I don't know if anyone could offer guidance then that would be great.

Many Thanks
Paladin

Dear Paladin,

Rich's zip file has a document called PROC.doc and the instroduction says the following:

Introduction.
This document details the procedures available within a series of include files called YRBINC, YREPINC, YBDCINC and YGRAPH. They are common utilities for Reporting utilities, BDC utilities and Graphing utilities respectively.

The include files are also attached to zip document. The document explains what the includes do and how to use them.

Can you explain a little more if there are any points that you don't understand.

Regards

Dr Sidewalk.

Dear Dr. Sidewalk,

Thank you for the reply. :)

I've been working away at docs.zip and the part that I'm really stuck with is creating table ZT001. Is this a copy of table T001?

Whenever I try activating the code I get the error of
The Dictionary structure or table "ZT001" is either not active or does

If you could offer any assistance then that would be good of you.

Best Regards.

Oooops....

That should be t001 - I'll get that checked and changed.

Change the table to Zt001.

Dear Rich,

Thank you for your reply and your answer has corrected the problems.

If you are Mr Harper then may I offer my praise and admiration at the patience and hard-work that you must have employed in producing this.

Have a good day.

As far as I am aware they have been removed from Sapfans, and are now many years out of date anyway.
