ALV Grid: Hiding repetitive key field column?

Post by mization » Thu Mar 30, 2006 7:44 pm

Is it possible to hide the values of repeating key field column?

Example if the output internal table after calling REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY looks like the following:

Code: Select all

Key1 Key2 Key3 Non-key1 Non-key2
AAA BBB CCC Sample1 Sample2
AAA BBB DDD Blah1 Blah2
I want the output to show the following:

Code: Select all

AAA BBB CCC Sample1 Sample2
           DDD Blah1 Blah2

Set the sort order to: key1 key2.

This can be done via teh Change Layout button or in your program by populating a table for it_sort.

I thought what you wanted was the default setting, and you had to change the NO_MERGING flag to display all values??

Curious... :?

Hi there,

Add sorting criteria with respective key fields to your ALV call (export parameter 'it_sort ').
