Modification og GUI-status in SAP tran. does not work???

Hi, I am trying to add a extra button to the application toolbar (GUI/pf-status) in transaction FD32. I have added the new button, syntax checed it and generated it.

When I hit the 'TEST STATUS' button, the screen displays my new botton with a lot of '?'s, instead of my the button icon and text.

When I run the transaction FD32 (Customer Credit Management). My new button is not there.

What am i missing ?

Post from 2004... probably the author is not interested in getting the answer anymore but maybe I will help to the others.

Actually it is not enough to make modification in a way that we add new pushbutton and a function key to the GUI STATUS.
There has to be another step done. We need to go to menu Extras->Active functions in current status (or just press Ctrl+F4).
SAP will show us the list of all function keys used in the program. There will be also our new function keys available there on the list.
All you have to do there is to use modification button and activate them.
