Submit Report and generate PDF attach. without using spool

Hi gurus,

I created a program to send payslips via email.

The programs works using the old PE51 Form, or a HRFORM using Adobe or HRFORM using Smartforms.

It works by submitting the necessary report and creating a spool, the spool is then converted into pdf and added as attachment to the mail.

I've now been asked if it would be possible to have the same program working without generating the spool.

What do you think about it ? is something like this possible ?

Delete spool after generation?
Or use Smartform OTF to PDF conversion (example)
