4.7 Installation

Hi I am getting Error saying that there is no Java in the particular drive I plan to Install...Before this I had got stuck in the Port assigning of 2212 and 2213...I stopped,,cancelled and started from tyhe beginning a new Installation,,now ia stuck with This error Java not Found..

Suggestion by anyone who reads this message is Welcome

Make sure your java_home is correct and that your java\bin is in your path.

I have downloaded Java from Website...and made it available...But it stil lgives Error...and How Do I check this Java_Home

Java_home is the environmental variable. See page 53 of the R/3 Enterprise installation manual - Preparing the SAPinst installation.

You are supposed to do all the pre-reqs before starting the installation.

Also says in the manual on how to show whether the java_home is setup or not ... (e.g. typing env on the Unix command or set on the W2k command line) ...
