Better still.

There's this note in SAP-Net (can't access from home so you're on your own to search), title is something like: Growth of Basis Tables (it starts with a 8, I'm sure of it!). The note is pretty big as of now and covers even the more obscure areas like SRELROLES.

This one may also be useful for your BW system:

1829728 - BW Housekeeping Task List

SAP standard housekeeping jobs can be scheduled from SM36. Take care because there sometimes newer versions of the housekeeping reports that should be used instead (see the SAP note Snowy recommended).

The 'Preventing Basis tables' growth note is a very useful one and is basically a master list pointing to many SAP notes regarding each group of tables growth. That one will keep you busy :)
