I don't think it will work. You need to schedule your backups with ADSM's own scheduler. This will start your backint which is connected to BRBACKUP and BRARCHIVE.

Hi,

We do use ADSM (old version 2.1) not TSM (current one) and schedule jobs from DB13.

For ADSM to work, you will require ADSM Module for SAP R/3 (which comes with it's own executibles including BACKINT program).

You will need to configure initSID.sap and initSID.utl file. As brbackup will read initSID.sap which points to initSID.utl (which contains ADSM server details, number of sessions, Management Class etc). In other words, if your brbackup from OS level can backup to ADSM, DB13 will also work.
