SAP system starts without autostart in profile?

Postby Mattsava » Mon Apr 14, 2014 5:23 am

Just taken over covering a SAP system and setting all non produciton systems to autostart on reboot of server, no problems here. The Produciton server already appears to auto restart on reboot but it does not have a windows scheduled task that does this and it does not have Autostart = 1 in the start profile. Those that do the windows patching just restart the server and do nothing more. Does any one have any ideas where else I could look to get to the bottom of how this is auto starting. It is not an issue but it would be nice to know, there is no documentation and nobody here seems to know how it was setup.

ask them how they reboot your windows server, they might be using something such as TSM or Control-M... and they might be using a script to start system from these 3rd Party tools.

also open a command prompt and check command "AT".
