SAP DAA in HA (Agents-On-The-Fly) SolMan 7.1

Dear experts,

Could someone explain to me how to configure DAA in a High-Availability environment? I have found that you must do it with the "Agents-On-The-Fly" setup but I don't quite grasp how it works.

This note gives information but I don't fully understand it:
https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lcyZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1365123

So basically, if it were just a normal system (1host with db/abap) you would just install 1 DAA and connect it.

Since this is a HA (1 virtual name for DB, 1 virtual name for CI, 2 physical hosts), you can't just install 2 DAA and connect them to the physical nodes since they are not registered in the LMDB (only CI/DB instances are registered)... So researching I found the way to configure it correctly is to use the "Agents on the Fly" setup but I am not familiar with it / don't fully understand it technically.

If someone could explain, I'd be greatful!

Thank you
