46c email setup

Postby MOQ » Sun Jan 27, 2013 10:08 am

Team

I am at a site and they need email setup on 46c (pre smtp setup) on a windows system.
So I set up the SM59 RFC to call mlunxsnd.exe (no script on Windows direct call to exe)
and also used mlsomadm.exe to generate the maligw.ini.

Here is my specific question, the
mlsomadm.exe prompts for the sendmail command
the documentation says enter /usr/bin/sendmail -I -f<SENDER_ADDRESS>.

Instead this environment uses blat (windows),
what is the exact blat command I should enter here (for example blat -I -f <SENDER_ADDRESS>..etc)

I see a lot of things on the web (but nothing with the specific blat command)

Let me know your thoughts on this much appreciated

Disclaimer: I more of Unix guy.

I confused your BLAT with BAT (Batch) for Windows. There is indeed a BLAT utility for sending mails via SMTP on Windows.

Why don't you try this site and experiment the commands?
