cannot export into excel format

Postby adminbasis » Mon Jan 14, 2013 10:16 am

Dear All,

We have one issue with ONLY 2-3 user's as when they are trying to export for example (MB52-list of warehouse report) into spreadsheet format then it says save as type XML file nm.(*.MHT).*.MHT but not as XXL list object is exported to table or pivot table. But for other user's on the same computer they dont have any issue & they could directly export into excel for any report. please advice...do we have to set any user parameter or should implement any note???

My concern is why only 2-3 users cannot export the data to excel while other's can do it & there is no parameter set for these people.

O/S - XP / Win-7
installed office - 2007
SAP GUI - 7.10 / 7.20

Appreciate for your quick feedback

Thanks in advance

From the way you describe the problem, it is not clear to me. But if you are saying that some users have a choice and some do not, have those who do not enter fcode &RESET_EXCEL in the list overview. This will restore their choices.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your prompt reply what i mean to say is few users cannot export data to excel format where as other user's can able to export data in to excel format without any problem on the same computer.

I tried to enter in the t-code bar as you have given below 'fcode &RESET_EXCEL' in the list overview' but it says not exist. could you please let me know what & where exactly i have to execute at user level ????

Thanks...

Hello,

try this:

SE16 on table SALV_BS_ADMIN.

Then put in the ok field &RESET_EXCEL.

When I read it well this resets for all users.

Bye

Hello,

OK field is not a part of the table, it is the white field in left upper corner where you can put transaction codes or e.g. /h for debugging.

Dear All,

I have done & its working fine... but "&RESET_EXCEL" is not working...

Solution is change the parameter value from 02 to 08 of users which cannot export to xxl format (in debugging mode for table SALV_BS_ADMIN).

Thanks for your kind support... :-)
