Hi

I think you are in Windos and Oracle ?

Is drive e: local or a remote ?

Have you done the backup on command level ?

try

brbackup -c -u / -m system

Post the error log from <x>:\oracle\<SID>\sapbackup

Good luck

Hi,

If the E:\ drive is not a local drive, and you are using a Windows batch file to execute your backup, you may want to try adding a couple of lines to your script:

net use E: /delete
net use E: \\<full path to drive> /user:<domain name>\<user to connect to drive as> <password of user>

The first line removes the definition of the mapped drive
The second line recreates the mapping.

Good luck,
