OLAP statistic table managing

Postby Giorgione » Thu Mar 10, 2011 8:28 am

Hello SAP FANS,
I have a poblem:
I have executed a upgrade from release BW 3.0 to 7.0.
In production system the statistical tables are periodically uploaded but there are no activated InfoProviders/DataSources OLAP on system. Morover in tcode DB02 is also possible to see the BW analysis.(my problem isn't the technical content for the BI (admin cockpit) beacause my tables statical are already upgraded.)

1) How really are loaded the these tables RSDDS*?

2) On DB these tables have a relevant size, how should be manage them?

3) The tables must be deleted periodically as for the PSA or Changelog? if yes, How?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

All of these questions must be answered by BW functional team.

it's their responsibility to mange these... but as Basis, you can tackle them about this from time to time... especially for PSA/ODS cleanup.
