Server Reboots

Post by Tinuviel » Thu Jun 25, 2009 5:11 pm

We are determining how often scheduled rebooting our SAP DEV and QAS servers is necessary. These systems work hard: bad code, broken RFCs, run away work processes, restarted threads, disconnects, dumps - these systems work hard and after awhile start to break down internally.

So how often do we need to reboot one of these servers? Is once a week too often? Every two not often enough?
