Post by fgomeza » Wed Jan 31, 2007 4:40 am

Hi gurus:

How can I show the users connected to the W.A.S.? They does not appear in SM04, I investigate SICF and smicm, but nothing clear.

Best Regards.

could you pls. be a bit more specific. is this a question about a r/3 instance running on a was or is this a standalone was? in both cases AL08 should give an overview. in case of more than one application server even SMLG might give a clue.

It´s a R3 system running WAS, we are testing this way and need know who are conected via WAS, not R3.

It's WAS running R/3. And you probably mean ICM.

Now here is the confusion.

The ICF connections via the ICM are all HTTP and so you can see these as HTTP connections in SM04 (filter or sort to get a better view)

The question is the WAS connections. I suspect what is meant is the connections from the J2EE WAS either attached to or connecting to the ABAP system ???

In this case you should see the IP addresses in SM04/AL08

For the ICM admin screen earlier hijacked, you need to set up ICMADMIN including a password, you'll find the info in the online help... type in a search criteria something like icmauth
regards,
Chap
