System Restore and SE06/SE09...

Postby cape1nd » Tue May 08, 2012 5:06 am

hello all,

SAP 4.7.1 Non Unicode
HPUX 11.23 64bit
Oracle 9.2.0.5 64bit

i've recently restored our existing DEV system. not a db copy, just a plain old restore of the exact same system to an earlier date.

however, my developers cannot see their modifiable requests using SE09/10 and STMS doesn't list the contents of all our released transports living in /usr/sap/trans?

do I need to run SE06 even though this is a like for like restore or do we think there maybe something more sinister happening?

thanks for any help you can give me!

Dave.

problem solved...

basis team used the wrong backup. discovered by interrogating the restore log which details the backup date stamp being used.

lesson learnt! :-(
