CATS - additional information by clicking on cell

Hi folks,

in CATS, when you click on a cell you get a popup with additional info and you can maintain a short text. My customer wants additional fields in there that should be treated like the short text - only valid for the cell (dataset in CATSDB) not for the entire line. It is a modification, this is clear. Has anyone done this before?

We've done similar mods like this before. I would make sure this is what the customer really wants in that I would not change the standard unless absolutely needed. It will make applying service packs more work intensive. Plus, modifying SAP code nullifies their responsibility to give you support for this code.
