Change PCP0 by default not to filter "Documents posted"

Postby GreenGreen » Thu May 15, 2014 3:39 am

Dear Experts,

In PCP0, system always filter those "Document s posted" records by default.
Every time, I need to delete the filter to trace the posting history.

Is there anyone know how to set the initial screen in PCP0 not to delete the "Documents posted" records by default?

Thank you.

Regards,

Dear Gothmog,

Thanks for your reply.

You can try PCP0 to see that when you save the Layout, the Subobject "Filter conditions" could not be unchecked, for the name of the layout 1STD is in the SAP standard layout namespace and you cannot save in standard layout.

If you save it as "User-specific" layout, then the problem is you need to select this layout when executing PCP0, and this will have the same no. of extra steps as to delete the filter form pull-down menu.

- create another layout (standard layout, not user-specific, e.g. /TEST) without filter conditions
- set it as the default layout in menu Settings/Layout/Manage...

Dear Gothmog,

This is the normal practice to save a default layout.

However, there isn't any checkbox in PCP0 "Save Layout as" about save the layout to a default one.

Well, I just did it in my system, so it's possible.

Click on the Save layout... button
Change the layout name (must start with /), description and uncheck Filter conditions
Click on the Save button
Go to menu Settings/Layout/Manage...
Select your layout
Click on the first button (Define default setting)
Save

Absolutely - you can also change it only for the connected user if you you create a user layout and set it as default
(default user layout > global default layout)

You're welcome - sometimes SAP hides the easy solution behind intricated menus. ;)
