Hi fellow gurus

I am having some problems writing a simple rule

I need to write a rule that reads the amount in wagetype 1 and does the following

Multiplies amt in wagetype 1 by 18% and store the results in wagetype 2
Multiplies amt in Wagetype 1 by 25% and store the results in wagetype 3
Multiplies amt in wagetype 1 by 15% and store the results in wagetype 4
Subtract amt in wagetype 2, 3 and 4 from Wagetype 1 and store results in wagetype 5

The Output of the results should show all wagetypes 1 - 5

Been having issues getting this to work. Can you help

Hello, not sure if this is relevant anymore,

Using the following wage type identifiers for your WT1,2,3,4,5 as XXX1, XXX2, XXX3, XXX4 & XXX5

Create WT XXX1 - XXX5

Create a new rule 'PE02' with the parameters * XXX1 Rule Called ZWT5 Note The Rule should only execute for WT XXX1

Therefore in the schema PIT ZWT5 <> <>

Rule ZWT5

Addwt XXX5, AMT*0.18, Addwt XXX2, SUBWTXXX5
FILLF A , AMT*0.25, Addwt XXX3, SUBWTXXX5
FILLF A , AMT*0.15, Addwt XXX4, SUBWTXXX5

Now check the Output IT table Remember you can use Print operation to check each step or pass into a variable WT ie Addwt&XXX2 Print&XXX2

Watch for splits if they occur ie multiple records during pay period i0001 or i0008 etc
Watch out for WT specifications from the one that you copied to create the XXX1 - XXX5 wage types and any effects on regular payroll processing
Processing Classes, Eval, Cummulations, Valuation Bases, I control these through the WT Catalogue pasync tool, handy to see what all WT paramaters.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
